STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
The basin cover shall be Model BPC as manufactured by U.S.F. Fabrication, Inc. with the size being specified on the plans.
Cover Plate: 1/4-inch (6.4mm) aluminum diamond plate cover reinforced for 300 psf (1465 kg/m2) live load with three 5/8-inch (16mm) diameter holes equally spaced on the perimeter for bolting to the existing structure. The door is equipped with cast aluminum flush lifting handle.
Hardware: 316 stainless steel continuous hinges and tamper resistant bolts/lock nuts.
Security: Aluminum staple protrudes through door cover for user supplied padlock. (The staple is bolted to substructure by anchors provided by others.)
Finish: Aluminum cover and integral door have mill finish.
Installation: Installation shall be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Warranty: Manufacturer shall guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten years.
