Covers: 1/4-inch (6.4mm) thick steel diamond plate reinforced for a 300 psf (1465 kg/m2) live load. Equipped with steel flush lifting handle that does not protrude above the cover, and 316 stainless steel hold open arms with red vinyl grips that automatically keep the covers in their open/upright positions.
Frame: 1/4-inch (6.4mm) thick steel angle with 1" x 4" (25mm x 102mm) anchors welded around frame for casting into concrete.
Hardware: Tamper resistant hinges with recessed stainless steel pins and lugs.
Security: A steel staple protrudes through cover for user supplied padlock.
Finish: Covers and frame have one coat of shop primer.
Installation: Installation shall be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Warranty: Manufacturer shall guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years.
